Elementary & Junior High

Core Courses

Students in Early Childhood Services (ECS – Kindergarten) to grade six receive instruction in Language Arts, Math, Science, Social, Art, Health, Physical Education, and Religion or Citizenship according to the Guide to Education.

Students in grades 7-9 receive instruction in LA, Math, Science, Social, PE, Health, and Religion or Citizenship according to the Guide to Education.

Option Courses

Dynamic Options - Grades 3-9

Students in grades 3-9 participate in Dynamic Options every Monday and Wednesday for the last 80 minutes of the day. Students had the opportunity to choose their options when they filled out their registration packages. Options offered are: hockey, recreation, foods, gardening, fit for life, cosmetology/girls empowered, STEM, Weird Science, guitar, French, choir, and yoga. 


Junior High Students take 2 extra option courses in each of three trimesters, throughout the year.  For the 2018/2019 school year, students are offered the following option courses:  Driver's Education, Outdoor Education, Art and Drama, Media Communications, STEM, Home Economics and Fit for Life.
